In the final cross-country tour of the Vans Warped Tour, 54 bands took on 6 stages for a full day of good music, good causes, and good times. The weather for the Mansfield Warped date typically goes one of two ways: scorching hot or pouring rain. After the rain in 2017 the sun decided to come out this year with the temperatures staying in the low 90’s throughout the entire day.
As always the lineup boasted a wide variety of genres varying from full on screamo to ska to classic punk-rock. Major bands like State Champs, Movements, The Maine, and As It Is were joined by more nostalgic acts like Reel Big Fish, Real Friends, 30H!3, Four Year Strong, Asking Alexandria, and Mayday Parade.
With this being labeled as the “final full cross country tour,” speculation leads us to believe that they could continue with a smaller, more regional tour next summer. The tour raps up on August 5th so we could be getting some news about the future of Warped Tour in the upcoming few weeks. Keep an eye out on their website for more.
